Our Story

A family-led journey rooted in intention, curiosity, and connection.

A family of four standing in a field of tall golden grass, with hills and trees in the background, smiling at the camera during sunset.

We’re Saige and Megan

Parents to two adventurous boys and homeschoolers.

We’ve always believed childhood should feel real. Hands in the dirt, questions asked out loud, time to notice the world God created.

But somewhere along the way, we felt the tension so many families feel:

Busy days. Divided attention. Learning that felt disconnected from real life.

We wanted something slower and more intentional.

That’s where Rooted in Wonder began.

Why We Created Rooted in Wonder

We weren’t looking for more curriculum. We were looking for rhythm.

Something structured enough to build real academic skills but simple enough to actually use. Something that strengthened observation, thinking, writing, and curiosity -without stealing joy.

So we built it.

Nature-based learning that works in real life.

Guided, but not overwhelming. Academic, but grounded in experience.

What Makes Our Approach Different

Real Skills, Real Moments

We care about strong thinking, structured writing, and academic growth - not just “cute activities.”

Designed by Parents

Every guide is built for real family rhythms. No complicated prep. No perfection required.

Rooted in Connection

Learning is strongest when it’s shared.

Our Hope

That your days feel slower and more connected. That your children grow confident and curious. That learning happens naturally - right outside your door.

From our family to yours,

welcome.
