Our Story

A family-led journey rooted in intention, curiosity, and connection.

A family of four standing in a field of tall golden grass, with hills and trees in the background, smiling at the camera during sunset.

We’re Saige and Megan

Parents to two adventurous boys, homeschoolers, and the family that recently removed the TV from our living room.

Not because we had it all figured out. Because we wanted something different for our kids - and honestly, for ourselves.

We wanted slower mornings. Kids who could entertain themselves. Days that felt more connected and less rushed. We just didn’t always know how to get there.

So we Started Small

A walk outside. A magnifying glass. A question asked out loud. A kid who suddenly didn’t need a screen to fill the quiet.

It didn’t take a big overhaul. It just took a simple starting point.

That’s what Rooted in Wonder is - the starting point we wish we’d had. Simple, ready-to-go activities that get kids outside and families present. No prep, no Pinterest, no perfection required.

Just open it and go.

Our Hope

That your days feel a little slower and a lot more connected. That your kids discover what they’re capable of when boredom leads somewhere. That your family finds its own version of wonder - right outside your door.

From our family to yours, welcome.
